We are a family firm of funeral directors in the Rossendale & surrounding areas of Lancashire who pride ourselves on providing a caring and compassionate funeral service.

An additional Trainee Funeral Director is now required to join our team and be part of a well-respected and professional service.

As a Trainee Funeral Director you will be actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the funeral homes, garages and workshops, the central diary and in assisting at other funeral homes as the need arises.

After an appropriate period of training a Trainee Funeral Director will arrange and conduct funerals, maintain computerised and paper office systems and take a key rôle in promoting the business in the local community.

The Trainee Funeral Director works under the direct guidance of the Principal Funeral Director and other members of our management team.

Working with that team a Trainee Funeral Director will demonstrate leadership and an ability to assist colleagues in developing and growing in their rôles.

You will work Monday to Friday (37.5hrs per week) Covering Rossendale & Burnley. We will expect you to have a flexible approach to the working day.

Uniform will be provided
A full, clean driving license is required
