Tradewind are recruiting Exam Invigilators. Are you a conscientious and supportive person looking for part time work in secondary schools in north Birmingham, near to the Handsworth, Erdington and Smethwick area?

We are recruiting for enthusiastic and committed individuals to support students with examinations and assessments as exam invigilators, readers and scribes.

The GCSE examination season is from 9th -24th January 2023. This is an ongoing part-time regular employment paying up to £11 per hour within school hours. No experience is necessary, but applicants must have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.

The Role:

Exam invigilation and exam assistance (full training provided).
Working on a part time basis of an average of three hours shifts or four times a week.
Due to GCSE examinations taking place on the same date at the same time nationwide, advance notice will be given.

The Role Includes:

Supporting the smooth running of examinations
Ensuring all students have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities
Ensuring the security of the examination before, during and after the examination preventing possible student malpractice
Preventing possible administrative failures
Working collaboratively with the Examinations and Assessment team
Supporting students with additional needs as a Reader or Scribe
Data entry and examination administration
