Prime Sports Physiotherapy & Pilates is a busy physiotherapy and wellbeing practice in Balerno, south-west Edinburgh. We currently offer Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy and Personal Training services from our customised clinic spaces. We have a well-equipped rehab gym, and have a large separate Pilates and fitness studio.

We are going through an exciting period of development and expansion of our clinic facilities.

We have fantastic opportunities to expand our Massage Therapy team working within our Wellbeing Hub, with hours offered on a part time, self-employed basis.

Payment is a percentage of each appointment, providing a very good hourly rate if the therapist can develop a good client base.

Job Role:

• Provide an excellent client experience whilst delivering effective therapeutic or sports massage treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with professional body and clinic standards
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary clinic team, cross referring to other services which would benefit the client/support their care.

Essential requirements

• Diploma in Swedish Massage
• Further training in deep tissue/sports massage
• Full professional insurance and relevant membership
• Are energetic, proactive and hard working
• Can work independently and to grow as part of a small friendly team
• Demonstrate excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
• Full drivers' licence and ability to work across sites
• Be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

Desirable

• Further qualifications and experience in providing holistic treatments such as Indian Head Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Facials

Flexible working patterns of daytime, evening and weekend working hours are offered

Experience:

Massage Therapy: 1 year (preferred)
