Are you a payroll professional with proven experience of coaching and overseeing a team? Are you able to get to central Birmingham twice a week? If so we have a brilliant opportunity working for a professional services business who require a payroll teamleader to oversea a team of around 10 payroll specialists.

Reporting to a really lovely payroll manager this role requires you to ensure that the payroll is processed and sense checked in time for payments.

You'll carry out 121's with your team, along withmentor, develop and be the escalation point for the teams queries and questions and you'll be the "go to" person for any operational leaders who require additional understanding and query resolution around payroll.

As someone who can deal with complex payrollissues easily you'll also get involved with continuous improvement project work and other non BAU related tasks.

You'll use your excellent communication skills to develop various team members with their payroll knowledge and you'll work with other teams tosupport them with their payroll understanding.

This role is a brilliant team leader role and will require strong payroll experience along with ideally "Workday" exposure and understanding.
