Description

The Red Lion Hotel is a 60 bedroom hotel with 3 function rooms that is located in Basingstoke Town Centre with easy links to the M3 and train station.

• Look after the Functions & Events Department
• Selling of the hotel's all hotel functions e.g. Weddings, Wakes, Private dinners, conferences, Party's and many more
• In creasing the sales of weddings at our venue
• Handling of all enquiries for the above that come into the hotel to conversion stage, then the generation of function sheets for the rest of the hotel team to be able to deliver the event.
• Work closely with our General Manager to market and push the hotel bookings
• Handling of all function enquiries and bookings
• Create function sheets for the hotel staff to help execute the event perfectly
• Liaise with customers after their event to get any feedback and ask if there is any further business they want to place with the hotel.
• Be proactive in making sales calls/ contact to new and existing customers.
• Utilise the hotel space to generate maximum revenue.
• Help within other hotel departments when needed
