We are looking for a third person to join our saleroom team here in the Cotswolds.

This role would perfectly suit someone looking to start a career in the auction world.


Saleroom Duties

• Packing purchases for client collection
• Unpacking consignments ready for sort and preparation for auction
• Signing out purchases
• Helping the saleroom team to lay out the monthly auctions
• Assisting with extra image requests and condition reports (training provided)
• Auction day duties, to include: internet and phone bidding, security
• Driving the company long wheelbase van and/or being the driver's assistant on client locations across the UK to collect, and often pack, consignments of books, works of art, antiques and furniture etc...
• Unloading collection into stores upon return
• Monthly deliveries of auction purchases to various London locations. This often involves an early start and a late finish

The successful applicant will be prepared for a physically active role and easily manage a lot of manual handling during each day.

They will have a full and clean driving license for at least 3 years, be polite and punctual, and represent the company to a high standard.

Competitive salary dependant on experience.

This role is five days a week, 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday but the hours could be negotiable, depending on individual and company needs
