Senior Management Accountant | Northampton (Hybrid Working) | £50,000 to £60,000

Great opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Management Accountant to take the lead in the day-to-day running of the finance function - reporting directly into the Head of Finance of a c£30 million turnover organisation.

You will have plenty of breadth to your role - covering all aspects of management accounting, financial reporting and commercial analysis - therefore well suited to those who see themselves as a future Financial Controller of an SME.

It's a flexible culture, from both an hours and home working perspective so you'll have the option to work 3 days per week from home if you want to.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Ownership of the management accounting for all divisions across the UK and Europe
Provide insightful analysis and commentary on the monthly financial results; highlighting any risks and opportunities for board meetings
Budgeting and forecasting with analysis into variances
Financial accounting (VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, oversee transactional finance)
Improvements to systems and processes from a management accounting perspective
KPI reporting and customer profitability analysis
Opportunity to manage a team in future if you have aspirations to do so
