Commercial Account Manager (Account Handler)


We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Commercial
Account Manager (Account Handler) to join our Advisory team located in either our Southampton or Brighton offices.


This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance, having worked in a Handler or Broker type role or within the Commercial Claims sector, looking to move into a new and exciting role within an established, market leading insurance broker.

What you will be rewarded with?

We will rely on you to:

  • Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes
  • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
  • Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and midterm adjustments
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth
  • Serve as a client contact for daytoday needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients

What you need to have:


  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products or experience within other areas of insurance, i.e Claims
  • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
