Absolute Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a
Power Press Setter / Operator for our client based in Bloxwich.

Our client is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join the team.

The Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of press machines to fabricate sheet metal parts.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate press machines according to job specifications
  • Fabricate, assemble, and inspect sheet metal parts
  • Use hand tools, welders, grinders, and other equipment as needed
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations related to measurements and tolerances
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Press Operator or similar role
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with press machines
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow job specifications accurately
  • Experience in grinding, assembling, and working with sheet metal is a plus

Working Hours
Monday to Friday

7.30am - 3.30pm


Salary
£ per hour depending on experience


Pay:
£13.00 per hour
