Role purpose
To run a broad caseload of commercial litigation matters and assist Partners with more complex commercial disputes.

The caseload will be wide ranging from contract disputes, such as restrictive covenant claims, IT contract disputes, sale of goods and supplyof services disputes, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, warranty and indemnity claims, IP disputes and injunctive relief matters.


Key responsibilities

  • Dealing with preaction correspondence
  • Meeting with and running meetings with clients
  • Advising on law, procedure, risk and strategy
  • Advocacy in relation to interim hearings
  • Running own caseload
  • Performing assistant role on larger cases
  • Operating within regulatory and firm's standards and ethics requirements
  • Ensuring all matters are run with good financial hygiene
  • Team player both within the Commercial Litigation Team and the wider Dispute Resolution Department
  • Assisting and engaging with firmwide initiatives
  • Fostering positive and long terms relationships with clients (both internal and external)
