This is an exciting opportunity to join the Employer Relations team within Imperial College Business School Careers Service.


The Employer Relations Coordinator position is a fast paced and varied role that focuses on increasing the opportunities for employment for the School's 2,000+ students, by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the systems and processes that support the Team.

The Employer Relations Team host a large number of both in person and virtual employer-led events throughout the year for which the post holder will ensure seamless event coordination and a positive experience for both employers, students and alumni.


Duties and responsibilities:


You will work closely with the global Employer Relations team, Careers team and wider Business School to support first-class employer relations.

With a focus on the management of employer relations events & systems, supporting the activities of the Employer Relations Managers and collecting & processing the data to measure the success of the Team.


You will provide an excellent customer experience to companies, as well as to our students and alumni, contribute ideas towards the efficient running of the team, and be responsible for administration of all Employer Relation team processes and procedures.

In this exciting role, you will lead on large career events and logistics for a number of high-profile events.


Essential requirements:

You will have prior experience in running events and of working with commercial clients.

This opportunity will suit an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Experience of graduate recruitment, or a higher education/Business School Careers Service would be advantageous.


Please note, the postholder will be required to work flexibly to accommodate the need to support events taking place outside of office hours, particularly during the autumn and spring term - this may include some evenings and possibly the occasional Saturday.
