Description

The Supervisor/cleaner, whilst being a hands-on cleaner, will supervise all other cleaning operatives on site, ensuring all areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.

In addition to the cleaning duties below, the Supervisor/Cleaner will control the ordering and issuing of all cleaning consumables and will be responsible for setting the alarm on site each night and returning keys to the security/gatehouse.


Working as part of a team of 3 responsible for the cleaning of all office, general areas, kitchens, toilets, mess rooms and portacabins on the Gateshead site.

Each cleaner has responsibility for specific areas throughout the site, whilst at the same time, helping each other when required.


Duties will include, but are not limited to:Vacuuming; sweeping; mopping; sanitizing; dusting; polishing; wipe clean; dry buffing; emptying waste bins and removing rubbish to disposal point.


Areas/locations to be cleaned but not limited to:Entrances; steps, doormats; wells, carpets; hard floors; desks; office furniture; fittings; ledges; sills; dado rails; skirting's; door furniture and glass; stairways; handrails; corridors; meeting rooms; First Aid Room; toilets; urinals and bowls; basins; taps; mirrors; ledges; towel cabinets; cisterns; lower pipework; walls; partitions; doors; floors; workbenches; microwaves; fridges; cups, plates, saucers and cutlery; coffee machines & tea pots; viral screens; sanitising stations.


4-Day working week
Monday 2.30pm to 6.30pm (4 hours)

Tuesday - Thursday 2.00pm - 6.30pm (4.5 hours per day)


5-Day Working Week
Monday - Thursday 3.00pm to 6.30pm (3.5 hours per day)

Friday 2.30pm to 5.30pm (3.5 hours)


EXPERIENCE


Ideally the Cleaner\Supervisor will have general cleaning and supervisory experience in an office\factory environment although full training will be given.

Must be eligible to work in the UK.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 17.5 per week


Salary:
£10.24 per hour
