Description
Our client are an expanding design business that have recently won several new long term contracts.

On the back of this we're recruiting a Safety Systems Engineer with a complex engineering projects background to be responsible for full system life cyclesfrom defining customer requirements, developing Safety System Specifications, identifying and demonstrating relevant industry standards through to reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and system disposal.

You'll be given the autonomy to progressprojects as you see fit managing through a matrix system a number of design engineers.


Safety Systems Engineer - Responsibilities - Project Manager, Electronics, Design, Technology, Defence, Automotive, Rail

  • Experience of safety engineering, safety assessments and safety design
  • Demonstrable evidence of systems safety design and specification definition in complex engineering projects
  • Working closely with the project management team in order to provide accurate updates and feedback
  • Test planning, Experiment design, Fault analysis etc.
  • Additional tasks to support design for reliability and product acceptance.

Safety Systems Engineer - Skills and Abilities - Project Manager, Electronics, Design, Technology, Defence, Automotive, Rail

  • Experience on a project management or systems engineering role.
  • An ability to take a top down approach to systems design taking account of various methodologies.
  • Interpersonal skills, in particular, the ability to work with staff and customers at all levels and generate positive, open relationships.
