Tradewind are recruiting Are you a qualified teacher of Food Technology looking for a new role for January 2023 in Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Food Technology teacher to join a large secondary academy in Manchester to start from as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a full-time supply teaching role paying up to £200 per day for suitably experienced upper pay scale teachers.

The Role

Teacher of Food & Catering

Delivery of food technology, nutrition and health and catering with a focus on innovative practical lessons

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

Experience of GCSE food is essential as the timetable is predominantly year 11 classes

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education catering specialists with experience of teaching Food to students aged 11 to 18.

To join us and be successful in this Food Technology Teacher role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions
