EPX Technical Services are an award-winning MSP based in both Staffordshire and the North-West, delivering IT Service Desk Support & consulting services to a wide range of business sectors.
We are looking for a proactive and professional intermediate level Accounts Assistant to join our growing team.As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the hands-on delivery of the company's day-to-day operational accounts and associated transactional services to customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the delivery of a wide ranging Accounts Assistant role, spanning all aspects of the company's day-to-day operational accounts and associated transactional services to customers and suppliers You will support the Finance Manager in the delivery of the EPX finance function, including the ongoing introduction and embedding of modern and efficient work processes, systems and controls.
You will be responsible for:
- Customer and supplier interaction
- Sales Ledger oversight
- Purchase Ledger management
- Credit Control
- Financial queries and administrative task
You will assist the Finance Manager with:
- Finance functions support eg. invoicing, cash flow, asset inventory and management, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
- Sales and Business Development support eg. assist in financial analysis of products and services, costings, pricing etc
- Purchasing (on an adhoc basis)
- A proactive and selfinitiated approach with welldeveloped intermediatelevel professional skills and practical accounting experience.
- Versatility and ability to thrive in a broadranging role within a closeknit team.
- Ambition to contribute to the company's development agenda and adopt modern accounting practices.
Job specific skills required:
- Intermediatelevel professional qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a similar role.
- Excellent IT skills and highly proficient in the use of MS Excel, including the use of formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
- Working knowledge of Xero
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a fastmoving SME businesstobusiness environment.
- Skilful in efficiently handling large workloads to meet deadlines.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
