Well known business based in the Hale area require an Assistant Accountant for their growing team.


Reporting to the Head of Finance this role offers an opportunity to work in an SME size business and in a smaller size team, therefore giving you a large variety in your daily activities making no 2 days the same.


Duties of the role will include:

  • Handling all aspects of the Sales Ledger
  • Raising invoices
  • Dealing with all queries in connection to the Sales Ledger
  • Handling the Credit Control
  • Dealing with all aspects of the Purchase Ledger including supplier statement reconciliation and queries both internally and externally
  • You will also close the ledgers at month end
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts including P&L
  • Handling all the bank reconciliations
  • Cost analysis
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasts
  • Ad hoc reporting when needed
