Human Resources Assistant
It is an extremely exciting time here at Cephas Care with the recent implementation of a new senior management team devoted to providing service excellence and supporting our staff.
Salary Range:
£9.50- £10.50
Hours Per Week: 26 hours per week Monday to Friday
Objective of Role
The purpose of this role is to:
The HR Administrator will provide administrative support to the Senior Managers of Cephas Alpha Group, across the full range of the HR function.
You will be responsible for delivery of HR and recruitment services with specific areas of central HR administration.Main Duties
- Upload open vacancies to the recruitment software, ensuring adverts are up to date and in line with current legislation
- Responsible for ensuring closed vacancies are removed and refreshing existing vacancies on a weekly basis.
- Distribute CVs to the relevant departments in a timely fashion.
- Create offer letters for approval, ensuring the information is accurate i.e. salary, location and hours of work.
- Ensure payroll are made aware of any contractual changes.
- Generate a DBS for new starters using the company's DBS software.
- Record DBS expiry dates and managing renewals with the managers.
- You will be required to take notes or record meetings for investigations and disciplinaries.
- Manage personnel files ensuring compliance.
- Undertake regular audits on personnel files for compliance.
- Manage the onboarding and induction process.
- Manage the probation process.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Level 3 or higher in Human Resources preferred
- Experience of producing letters and documentation using word.
- Experience of prioritising workload, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- You will possess administration skills and be able to take notes at an investigation/disciplinary meeting.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential appropriately is essential
- You will need to possess a GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification
