We're looking for a Securities Specialist to:

Work directly with the EMEA Stock Borrow Loan (SBL) / Equity Finance business to enhance settlement efficiency, reduce CSDR penalties and enhance the client experience for our counterparties.
Work across our global settlement and SBL teams/functions to get the best solution or course of action for issues and escalations.
Be an escalation contact for our team in India to help problem solve/assess risk on a wide range of securities operations topics.
Use data visualization and mining tools ( Kibana / Tableau / Power BI ) to prioritize high value settlements within a timesensitive environment.
Take ownership to ensure CSDR penalties are kept to a minimum. Understand issues and identify solutions to increase straight through processing and settlement efficiency.
Run various weekly/monthly SBL and CSDR meetings and initiatives, keeping key stakeholders and operations management abreast of current issues and progress on internal/external topics.
Work with vendors in the SBL space regarding offerings to enhance SBL settlement efficiency / reduce risk to the franchise.

Your team

You'll be working within the Securities Operations team based in London. You'll be primarily responsible for partnering with the SBL and Equity Finance business, and wider Securities Operations teams' to manage settlement efficiency, risk and CSDR penalties.

Your expertise

2 to 5+ years' proven experience in securities operations within the finance industry
Experience of SBL settlements/middle office desired
Able to build and retain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Able to think creatively and logically to solve problems
Able to execute and delegate in a complex and multilevel stakeholder environment
Able to manage risk, critical exposure, and escalations
You are Interested in digitalization and have an affinity with technology
