£38,000 to £41,000 DOE

Monday - Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A DAY SHIFT ONLY?

Working for a longstanding engineering company you will be working day shift as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, completing electrical and mechanical PPM tasks as well as attending machine breakdowns.

There is an opportunity to progress within the company to a more senior position in time, so this role would suit those who are looking for a long term position with the chance to take on additional responsibilities in the future.

If you have a strong mechanical problem-solving background with experience of carrying out maintenance and a strong electrical understanding, wanting a long term role and progression, this role could be for you

What you will be doing:

Complete scheduled PPM to ensure downtime is minimised
Deal with any machinery breakdowns quickly and efficiently
Complete fault finding and diagnostic checks both mechanically and electronically on various production machinery
General fabrication and manufacture of Jigs/fixtures using a range of workshop equipment
Continuously looking to improve procedures and processes
Liaise and communicate with subcontractors on maintenance issues

About you:

Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias
Strong knowledge of Electrics 3phase, single phase and industrial wiring
Ability to fault find, have strong problem solving skills and confident in completing diagnostic checks
Keen to learn and take on extra responsibilities
Experience with welding/fabrication would be an advantage
