As the Pendragon Group goes through continued change, internal Associate communications are more important than ever, the business needs to look at new, more efficient ways of working to further increase employee satisfaction.


Reporting to the head of communications, you will plan, create and distribute content across internal platforms to company Associates in line with our overarching communications strategy.


What does the role of Internal Communications Executive involve?

  • Building a centralised hub for internal communications supported by enthusiastic champions around the business
  • Developing a new, bestinclass communication plan that can be applied across the group
  • Produce authentic and consistent communications that promotes greater transparency
  • Be a trusted advisor to internal businesses and project teams, providing advice on communication and engagement strategies
  • Proactively create a wide range of crisis management materials to support a variety of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business leaders to increase engagement with our internal communications platform
  • Use and encourage storytelling to increase awareness of good news stories

What do you need to succeed in the role of Internal Communications Executive?

  • Excellent spelling and grammar as well as the ability to change the tone of voice depending on the audience
  • You'll need to liaise with different people from different teams every day of the week, so the ability to communicate effectively is a must
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • This role requires fresh ideas and innovative thinking to make the most of our internal resources
  • Experience in the creation and delivery of communications plans
  • Possess an outgoing personality that allows you to build strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Experience of working in an internal communications environment, preferably in a large enterprise
  • Experience of partnering with stakeholders to develop strategies and deliver campaigns
  • Degree or other qualification in a communications related field
