About the role:
At Diageo, there are two core assets that drive growth across our business: our brands and our people. They drive one another. The Human Resources Function sits at the heart of this. Within the global Total Rewards COE, our role is to help craft and deliver a driven employee value proposition that enables us to attract and retain the best talent, build fulling employee experience and help the organization achieve efficient business performance


In line with our global Reward philosophy and strategy, you will be accountable for leading on the total reward agenda for Global Supply which spans over 25 countries and 7,500 employees.

This role will work on reward programs and projects that cut across multiple business units and countries. It also covers a large, unionized population.

The role holder will lead on both the Reward strategy and priorities for this group, alongside the strategy for the non-unionized population whilst balancing the offering within the local country specifics.


The complexity of the matrix environment, combined with a large group of stakeholders at all levels of seniority, necessitates the ability to build great relationships and have outstanding customer engagement and interpersonal skills.

Managing competing priorities, and understanding how to get things done in a matrix organization is also critical.


Reporting into the Head of Market Reward and working collaboratively with Diageo's Global Reward COE, this position will also play a key role in our ongoing transformation efforts.

These are aimed at delivering step-change improvements in the purpose & impact of our global Reward programs & practices.


Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Represents and aligns Diageo's global Total Rewards philosophy, strategy and priorities to the needs and priorities of the respective global functions and its individual markets in partnership with key partners
  • Demonstrates a strong eye for business and deep domain expertise to serve as trusted advisor to Global Supply HR leadership Team and senior business leaders across the region.
  • Delivers robust market intelligence and provide inputs on the salary structure via datadriven insights
  • Ensure our competitive posture and drive thoughtful pay decisions for the respective populations
  • Ensures appropriate execution of annual compensation planning process and budget cycle; prepares and delivers summary reviews with regional leadership
  • Responsible for financial forecasting of salary costs and incremental investment required to achieve our targeted pay proposition
  • Stays abreast of external trends and standard methodologies through active participation in relevant compensation & benefits forum
  • Represents the needs, interests, and priorities of the function to the Reward Leadership Team
  • Helps craft, lead and/or participate in COE transformation efforts and projects
  • Develops market leading policies, practices, and programs ad hoc in pursuit of company purpose to celebrate life, every day, everywhere.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Experience in Global Supply, Procurement and Manufacturing or similar complex matrix environment
  • Must willing to work within our hybrid working model
  • Proficient English language skills are required, Spanish is an asset
  • Sophisticated computer software skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication terpersonal skills
  • Strong problemsolving, decisionmaking and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly assemble facts/data, analyze and formulate concrete insights
  • Exceptional consultative skills, able to successfully influence team members of all levels
  • Understanding for the component parts of HR and how to deliver highquality service(s) across multiple markets and client groups
  • Strong selfstarter who is eager to learn and has the tenacity to follow through on assigned projects to successful completion
  • Familiarity with Workday and Willis Towers Watson's Global Grading System preferred
