Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented activities Coordinator to join our team for the summer period.
As an activities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our well established family centre here in Gosport.
providing a safe fun space for families to use as a safe haven during the summer holidays. You will be able to plan and facilitate family inclusive activities for them to make long lasting memories.
This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the centre Cook and the families that utilise the centre.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare activities to meet the needs of local families.
- Monitor levels and ensure materials are available for daily activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of family inclusive activity plans for the summer holiday period.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure adherence to safety protocols
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of understanding child development, Autism and / or ADHD, working with and supporting families is a plus.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and think of your feet is a must.
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 weeks
Pay:
£8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
