Loan IQ Specialist

As a Barclays Loan IQ Specialist, you will be working on the Core lending platform division of Wholesale Lending Technology.

This Transaction Cycle assists in the transformation of the Wholesale Lending Business, for which the current state infrastructure has an over reliance on legacy platforms, high levels of remediation costs, lacks automation and straight through processing.

This department supports various critical Operational functions such as Loans trading, Loans settlements and payments.

What will you be doing?

  • Planning and managing upgrades, core Finastra and End of day reporting related changes
  • Managing and leading the vendor relationship on any release and Bug fixes
  • Designing the strategic architecture for real time event processing of loans, journals, books, reference data, and the like
  • Interfacing with various stakeholders to comprehend business, audit, compliance and regulatory requirements and deliver the solutions to meet the requirements
**What we

- re looking for**:


  • Experience in software development
  • Extensive working knowledge of Java, Shell scripting, relational databases (Oracle, SQL server etc.), caching and messaging technologies
  • Experience in team management

Skills that will help you in the role

  • Understanding of software development using agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of dev tools such as Jira, Stash/GIT, team city, and the like
