Job Role:


Burgess Hill is recruiting for Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team of professionals that include Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers and OTs.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will work across the hospital under the supervision of a qualified nurse, supporting our patients in their recovery.


What we need from you:


  • At Least 2 Years Previous experience in a healthcare role (preferably mental health)
  • Ability to keep calm in challenging situations
  • An understanding of mental health conditions
  • Resilience
  • Encouraging and supportive approach
  • A caring nature with strong listening skills
  • Thrives within a team led environment

Skills and Knowledge:


  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Basic Literacy skills

Qualifications:


  • Education to GCSE Standard
  • NVQ or equivalent would be an advantage
