The Opportunity:


You will work with relevant stakeholders and the Head of Asset & Configuration Management to implement and support processes that ensure the effective governance, controls and integrity of McDonalds UK&I corporate data.

You will have line management responsibilities and operate as a strategic leader within the Technology and Change function.


What will my accountabilities be?

  • Create and enforce policies for effective data management following standards set by Global Technology and in line with local market legislation and regulation
  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders etc.
  • Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
  • Monitor and analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
  • Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
  • Troubleshoot datarelated problems and authorise maintenance or modifications
  • Work with the Supplier Management teams to ensure that our partners are aligned with McDonalds data standards
  • Accountable for establishing a Data schema which maps all corporate data and ensures that data ownership and associated responsibilities are in place
  • Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to members of the Data Management team, ensuring that the team have strong development plans and career progression and succession plans.
  • Work with business owners in support of creating an overall enterprise data strategy

What Team will I be a part?
The Data Enablement Consultant will be part of the wider Asset & Configuration Management team.
