Ski Sales Specialist - Witney, United Kingdom - Butler Rose Ltd

Working within a vibrant and fast paced team, you will be responsible for developing client relationships and securing both new and repeat bookings within our luxury property portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Working as your client's foremost ski travel specialist, you will look after them from the moment they make their initial enquiry, listening to their requirements, presenting suitable options, taking them through the sales process and ultimately securing the booking, whilst maintaining the relationship for future bookings
- You will work to achieve personal and team targets related to gross profit, booking numbers, and conversion rates
- Building strong relationships with our chalet/hotel partners in resort to ensure we get the best options for the client and the maximise gross profit for the client.
- Responsible for obtaining correct invoices from the chalet/hotel partner, generating the relevant booking paperwork for your client and securing swift payment
- Liaising with the accounts team to make sure payment is received on time
- To be proactive in contacting previous clients and encouraging repeat business for the following seasons
- You will be required to attend face to face meetings with suppliers & relevant related events (which may be outside of standard office hours)
- You will also be responsible for the joint general upkeep of the client's website portfolio, ensuring all properties are up to date and accurate, and adding new properties where necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong ski experience (ideally a season or more working inresort)
- This role requires you to be highly organised and fastidious in personal management to ensure detail is at the heart of everything you do.
- Being responsible for many clients at any given time, you must be able to juggle and manage many moving parts at any given time, especially during the busy periods of the ski season.
- This role also requires you to build valuable and trusted relationships with suppliers and operators.
- A cando attitude
- Confident phone manner and ability to build/nurture relationships
- Strong IT skills and written fluency
- Sales experience preferred but not essential
- Capable of hitting the ground running and comfortable with the fastpaced sales environment
