The Opportunity:


This an exciting opportunity for a front-house Business Support Administrator to join our leading business entity Select Plant Hire based at St Neots - Cambridgeshire.

This is a great opportunity to be the interface and create a professional and welcoming environment for all LOR visitors, and staff and to support the Select business with administrative duties.

Due to the nature of this role, this role is a full-time site-based role from 7.30 am-4.00 pm.

What will the role look like?

  • Ensure guests sign in and out of the building and use security passes. Make sure that the person they are here to see is aware they have arrived
  • Book meeting rooms for LOR employees and contact them a day before to confirm the booking.
  • Keep weekly records of training room allocation and send to the Office Manager.
  • Order buffets and assist with the setting up of hospitality events.
  • Frank all mail & distribute post each day.
  • Supervise the welfare team rotas and ensure work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Placing stationery orders on behalf of the St Neots depot and keep logs of stock.
  • Record VOC paint figures.
  • Raise orders in COINS as directed by the Office/ Quality Manager.
  • Run monthly reports on outstanding actions from company systems and report to relevant Manager.
  • Create and amend process maps for Select departments. Assist in the new depot operational manual.
  • Be responsible for uploading documents to the A Site portal.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with the management of A Site administration and document control.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and listening.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, (COINS, A-Site
  • Internal training given)
  • Quick and efficient problem solver.
  • Proactive and selfstarter
  • Preferably someone from a construction, Plant Hire industry background
