Malloy Aeronautics Ltd is an innovative and rapidly growing company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Engaged in cutting edge technology design, build and manufacture. The business is growing with new contracts, so we are creating great new career opportunities.


You will assist the production team to carry out tasks such as, liaising with external suppliers, stock checking, part tracking, implementation of production line changes and change processes.

Full time role for an immediate start.

Note:
This role is not about assisting just from a desk.

Whilst some tasks are desk based, others involve being actively involved with the production team and the entire production backend to ensure our UAVs are manufactured to the highest standards, process are improved wherever possible, and our production team have what they need - when they need it.


Responsibilities include:

Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of parts and finished drones, ensuring that stock levels are maintained to meet production and distribution demands. This includes implementing inventory tracking systems and conducting regular audits.

Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components. The manager must understand the lead times for different components and manage the supply chain to prevent production delays.

Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This involves organizing the warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and managing the movement of goods within the facility.

Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure that incoming components and outgoing products meet the required standards.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the warehouse complies with health and safety regulations. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and training staff in safety practices.

Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve warehouse processes.

Customer Service: Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This may involve handling special shipping requests or managing returns and exchanges.

Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans for situations like equipment failures, supply chain disruptions, or natural disasters.
