Description

Our well established and UK leading client, is currently looking for a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their delivery and warehouse team.

FULL CPC and Digitacho are required for this role.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday , occasional Saturdays

The main duties of this role are to deliver goods to our customers by way of driving a Class 2 vehicle.

Adhering to TACO legislation and using route mapping. Excellent customer service skills are an essential part of the role. The physically demanding natureof this role requires physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy deliveries. Flexibility to occasionally work in our warehouse if needed.

The Role

Deliver excellent customer service that exceeds all customers' expectations
Comprehensive product knowledge
Ensure all routes are planned effectively
Ensure TACO legislation is followed when driving the Class 2 vehicle
Deliver or collect goods as and when required, manually handling heavy items when required
Check that the load matches the paperwork and that accessories are not left behind
Ensure that all paperwork is properly signed, printed, and dated by each customer
Assist in the loading of your vehicle
Ensure that your load is secure at all times and protected from the weather when necessary.
Ensure that the TACO form is completed daily and filed appropriately
Ensure that the van is kept clean and tidy inside and out

This role is a full time, permanent position.

For insurance purposes - applicants must have held a UK license for at least 2 years and no more than 3 points on their license.

Full CPC and digital tacho are also required.
