Description
Great British Fudge Company own and operate 10 retail mobile units that tour various festivals as well as have regular work at several major sports venues.
Due to demand and increasing our work by 50% this year - we are looking for 1-3 team members based nearby to Doncaster.
Duties;- Loading & unloading trailers, lorry and vans (there is a lot of lifting involved)
- General yard duties as required including equipment and unit maintenance, general cleaning and prep of all units prior to and post events
- Assisting with loading of units, equipment and stock
- General yard work including (but not limited to) painting, woodwork, general handyman tasks proficient user of hand / power tools required
- General Driving stock collection etc. (valid UK license required)
- Lorry driving required for delivery of units to event sites and yard ideally any of these HGV Class 1 Drivers, Class 2 Drivers, HIAB Drivers, Van Drivers, Warehouse workers and Forklift drivers
- Flexible some long haul, short haul driving can include early starts or late deliveries and occasional overnight stays
- English speaker permission to live/work in the UK with valid photo ID (required for all event access so Passport or Driver's License preferred share codes for presettled status acceptable)
- Labouring background is beneficial
- Woodworking/ Carpentry a bonus but not essential
- Own transport (due to the location)
- Experience in manual handling
- To be a great team player a practical ability with a 'can do' attitude is essential
- Good knowledge of safe working practices take pride in your work
- Work at some incredible music festivals, sport events and county shows

You will be starting on an initial trial basis, which will be reviewed after 3 weeks and moved to a fixed term or permanent contract.
