SF Recruitment have an exciting opportunity recruiting for a Team Leader Assistant, to join an excellent manufacturing client of ours based in Swadlincote.

You will be responsible for providing support for assigned production areas. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday-Friday, with a 12pm Friday finish

As the Team Leader Assistant you will be required to provide support across the production department, whilst overseeing the general work areas and ensuring to prioritise workload and orders.

Typical duties will include:

Overall day today running of assigned area in support of the Supervisor
Executing the daily production plans issued to the assigned area, offering support and adaptibilty when necessary
Supporting the department to achieve the orderbook requirements and Sales Targets driven by the business
Ensuring full loading of direct operators to maximise production output and achieve the daily plan
Supporting the assigned area to focus on Scrap Reduction, Profitibility, Absence Control, H&S and Continuous Improvement Initiative
Maximising the performance and efficiencies of their assigned area as well as any shared function
Promoting a good standard of housekeeping and 5S
Assisting Team Leader on a day today basis and also cover in their absence
Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental procedures and requirements
Ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation within the job holder's responsibilities
Supporting and coordinating stock taking activities for their area of responsibility
