Fixed Term - 1 Year

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary:
£36,050 per annum (FTE)


Monday to Friday. Flexibility required as per needs of the role.

Based London Bridge and moving to Kennington

The Role


You will have excellent organisational and project management skills plus experience of working in a client facing role with a wide range of administrative and specialist staff.


You will be part of a friendly team working in a collaborative atmosphere and the work will be varied, demanding, and rewarding.


Job Purpose
WPF Therapy is planning to move premises.

The move will be a two-step move from our current building in London Bridge to temporary accommodation and then to our new permanent site in Kennington.

This post holder will be key to supporting the move.

  • To Work with the Project Manager and key staff to ensure a smooth implementation of the project to move our charity to new premises

Reports To:
Interim Director of Operations who is the Project Manager


Main Accountabilities

  • To be responsible for the daytoday implementation of the project plan including contribution to reports and risk management.
  • To work closely with the Office Manager and leads from all departments to ensure that all agreed actions are implemented to time and to the agreed standard.
  • To carry out tasks as required to support others to achieve agreed actions. This may include but is not limited to; archiving files, updating documents and drafting new letters and documents for agreement by the Project Manager to support the move and keep staff, Trainees and users informed of plans
  • To work with the Project Manager and Key staff to ensure that staff are kept up to date on requirements of the project and set deadlines and agree how and by whom support can be provided.

Other Responsibilities

  • To provide a photograph and brief biography for the website and other promotional materials.
  • To work in accordance with WPF Therapy policy, including the Equalities and Diversity Policy.
  • To consult, as appropriate, with the designated Health & Safety Manager in case of incidents and emergencies.
  • Knowledge of antidiscriminatory practice including legislation and protected characteristics.
  • To support service needs as required e.g. ad hoc reception cover
  • It is the practice of the WPF Therapy to examine job descriptions from time to time and to update them to ensure they relate to the job as then being performed, or to incorporate whatever changes are being proposed. This will be conducted in consultation with you._

  • Knowledge and experience of a range of administrative tasks
  • Experience of supporting others to complete tasks to agreed timescales
  • Experience of working with change
  • Experience of managing processes and staff

Skills and Personal Qualities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding and varied workload.
  • Commitment to promoting and maintaining high professional standards whilst upholding the charity's vison and values.
  • Excellent IT skills, Access databases, Office 365 including Excel Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Enthusiasm for developing with the organisation to meet any changing organisational requirements.

  • Ability to work flexibly and deliver to agreed timeframes
