The Kids' Table is a small London-based business run by two mums - Debs & Sarah.

We are on a mission to make dining out more enjoyable for families - more fun for kids and more relaxing for parents.


We supervise groups of year olds at pubs, restaurants & food halls enjoying arts, crafts & table top games whilst their parents are sat closeby.

We are recruiting a 'Bank Staff Play Worker' to provide emergency cover for our West London venues. You will be required to be available every Sunday except for pre-agreed holiday dates. You will be paid a £20 holding fee to keep your Sunday free. You will be notified by midday on Sunday as to whether you are required to work. If you're not required to work, you will be notified & will still receive the £20 holding fee. If you are required to work you will be paid for your shift at £11.95ph plus £10 travel costs. Shifts are either 4hrs 45 mins or 5hrs 45 mins depending on the venue. Shifts are 9.35am - 3.20pm, 11.35am - 4.20pm or 12.05pm - 4.50pm depending on the venue.

You will work on a freelance basis and will be responsible for declaring additional earnings to HMRC.


This role is ideal for teaching assistants / teachers / childminders / nursery workers / nannies to work around their studies / regular work.

Requirements:

- applicant should have at least 1 year of childcare experience (this must be professional experience not personal/parenting)
- applicant should be creative & competent at doing craft activities with children

  • DBS checked (ideally on the Enhanced annual update service or a certificate dated within 12 months).
  • Ideally first aid trained but not essential
- must have good availability on Sundays
- must be happy to travel to all above locations

£11.95 per hour
plus travel costs
