OA are recruiting for a
HR Advisorto join our clients' growing team in Stevenage.

They are a national provider of Telecoms & IT Engineering, with a vision of becoming the Service Provider of choice across the UK.


Available due to growth in the workforce, the aim is to provide customer-focused and comprehensive HR Advice and support to management and employees.

You'll be joining a well-established HR team within a company who invest in their people development.

Job Details:

- £29,000 per annum

  • Full time, permanent 9am 5pm
days holiday (can opt in to work Bank Holidays)

Main duties:


  • Actively review processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency in the department
  • Provide professional advice on HR policies, procedures, and terms & conditions of employment
  • Promote HR best practice through guidance and coaching on HR issues
  • Support ER case work such as disciplinaries, grievances, attendance management, maternity/paternity, engagement period etc
  • Embrace and integrate into the delivery and success of the wellbeing programs
  • Manage the reporting of tasks such as Employment Casework and Absence Management
  • Collate information relating to accurate salary payments
  • Support with ongoing HR Projects

Key Skills & experience:


  • Previous experience within a HR function is essential
  • Exposure to ER casework, including legislations & procedures
  • Previous experience offering advice and guidance on HR policies & procedures
  • CIPD is advantageous, but not essential
  • A true team spirit, with a passion for people
