Description

Our Client, a leading business based in the York ring road are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Coordinator to respond to opportunities from existing and potential customers.

No cold calling, customers will come to you or will have requested more information.

Working Monday to Friday Office Hours, office based.


Salary - £22,000-23,500 based on experience + commission scheme paying up to an extra £6k a year.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Qualify, process and follow up opportunities from potential customers.
  • Carry out phone followups in liaison with Area Managers and negotiate sales orders.
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the field sales force and to support them in maximising their order potential.
  • Record the progress of each sales opportunity on CRM.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service at all times.

Attributes Required:


  • GCSE or Equivalent Levels of education
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Previous experience in a Sales, Customer Service or Administrative environment desired
  • Previous experience of working in a fastpaced environment and ability to work under time pressure
  • Experience of using CRM systems e.g. Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable but not essential
