IBK are working with a young lady who would like to recruit a Personal Assistant to keep her company after college or spend time with her on a weekend.

This young lady loves her life and has lots of engaging things to do throughout her week although may need help with her anxiety.

The focus of the role will be to assist this young lady with a learning disability to get home from College in S11 area.

At home you may support her to prepare a simple meal, encourage her to do some homework or practice on her piano.

If she has had a tiring day she may also just want to relax in her bedroom.

Plus, if you are free sometime on a weekend, it would be great if together you could plan a cinema trip or a shopping adventure into town

Essential
Willing to learn from the young person and their family.
Be friendly, reliable, and honest; and maintain confidentiality.
Be respectful in the family home.
Be creative and confident in your personal approach to involving the lady in all decision making
A happy and positive nature

Desirable
Experience and understanding of learning difficulties and anxiety
Having interests, hobbies and skills you could share with the young person

A car driver with use of a car and a clean licence.

Hours: 3pm-6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays or weekend
