We have opportunities for an experienced M&E Project Surveyor to join our Smartspace business to join our teams on exciting Cat B fit-out projects in London and the Southeast. The role will include taking accountability for the development and implementation of all M&E pre and post contract stages including the delivery of the M&E project strategy, management of the M&E subcontractor and with responsibility to manage the Client account. You will be working on site providing specialist support to the site-based project team.

ABOUT YOU

You will already have some relevant work experience as M&E Project Surveyor with strong commercial skills to manage value recovery, cost control and cash management, as well as the ability to use and understand financial reports.

You will be a confident communicator, able to demonstrate the ability to form and develop relationships with client, PQS, design team and supply chain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Main Accountabilities in relation to M&E account include:

Ensure the delivery of high-quality commercial reports to the client on time
Capturing and submitting variations on the project and getting them agreed in a swift manner
Review of the tendered supply chain price and agreement of subcontract sum
Agree external valuations/ cash flow to maximise project value
Review and agree main and subcontract final accounts in relation to the Services packages
Administering and Dealing with contract issues upstream with the client and downstream with the supply chain that relate to the M&E scope and works progress.
