We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Finance Assistant based Cubed HQ, in the world heritage site Salts Mill, to work alongside our part time Finance Assistant and Payroll Specialist.

As well as a competitive salary of
£28,000-£35,000 per annum DOE,

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Purchase Ledger/ Sales Ledger/ cashbook management.
  • Month end preparation processing month end journals and prepare management accounts.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Producing weekly sales management reports internally.
  • Monitor and report on cashflow and debtors.
  • Liaising with the bank and managing factoring facility.
  • Credit control: monitor timeliness of receipts from debtors to ensure that all monies owed to the Company are collected, chase overdue items and raise issues internally.
  • Processing purchase invoices in the accounting system, obtain signoff for payment and process supplier payments.
  • Process employee expense claims in accordance with the company expenses policy.
  • Oversee the internal payroll and manage company pension scheme.
  • Complete ONS Surveys.
  • Monthly credit card reconciliation.
  • Review internal systems and process to ensure continual improvement.

About you:


  • Ideally be a part qualified Accountant or fully AAT qualified.
  • Current experience in a similar position.
  • The ability to be selfmotivated, innovative and work without supervision.
  • Proactive multitasker who is deadline driven.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail
  • Results driven.
  • Experience of SAGE Cloud Accounting would be beneficial.
  • Experience assisting/supporting junior staff desirable.
