We are seeking a motivated and committed individual for this exciting role working within a large team.

Experience in Medical Staffing/Recruitment is preferred but not essential.

  • To be part of the team that is first point of contact for doctors working in Sheffield Health and Social Care
  • To be responsible for the day to day management of medical recruitment and on call rotas to identify and prevent gaps in service provision
  • To provide administrative support to the Team and to carry out duties in a manner that supports departmental targets and ensures compliance with standard operating procedures.

  • To manage the recruitment processes for doctors including locums.
  • To develop and maintain multiple information systems to support the recruitment, management and administration of doctors in the Trust; this will involve a range of systems including but not limited to Excel spreadsheets, ESR, TempRE, E-Roster and Trac.
  • To assimilate data from multiple sources and communicate the key messages in an appropriate format to different audiences e.g., implications recruitment, sickness management, on call rotas, training events.
  • Responsible for the day to day supervision and training of junior members of the team.
  • To provide cross cover for other members of the team commensurate with the responsibility of the post.
  • Take personal responsibility for the production of accurate and wellpresented correspondence, reports, minutes, presentational work and other documentation as required within the Directorate.
  • To request, receive back and process preemployment checks about prospective doctors including sensitive data for example personal details, equality and diversity information, DBS disclosures, previous pay, employee health reports, right to work documentation, GMC registration, transfer of information details etc.
  • Prepare and distribute contractual documents including rotas and pay information
  • Validate ID documentation etc and input all new starter details onto ESR.
