We have a great opportunity to join our Trauma & Orthopaedic Therapy Team working on the acute wards at York Hospital.
Our main caseload consists of trauma patients however you will also have the opportunity to work with elective orthopaedic patients.
We have a Band 3 Generic Therapy Assistant, 37.5 hours per week role available.The team works Monday to Sunday between 8.00am - 4.30pm (working hours and rota pattern to be agreed on appointment).
Our friendly and sociable team receive positive feedback on the warm, supportive welcome and comprehensive induction provided to new team members.

The team is made up of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Support workers.You will have access to a support network including specialist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, a Management Team and Professional Leadership Team.

You will be required to assist our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with physical rehabilitation, general patient care and facilitate the smooth running of the department.
You will be responsible for ensuring IT based administrative tasks are completed on a daily basis and manage the provision of therapeutic equipment as required.
