We invite you to come and work as part of a busy and friendly team within the Community Child Health Information Service (CCHIS), based in Chichester.


We require an individual who is organised and efficient, with great IT skills (using Microsoft Office software and SystmOne [training will be given]) and a friendly and open manner.

Excellent communication skills are essential.


The Child Health information Officer will undertake data entry and clerical duties in relation to vaccination/immunisation, early child health and school health within the Community Child Health Information Service (CCHIS).


You will work closely with the CCHIS Management Team and colleagues to provide a range of administrative support and point of contact for health visiting and school nursing services.

You will have regular communication with clinicians and administrative colleagues across the Trust.

Main duties:

Provides feedback about how office and administrative procedures work in practice to help with identifying improvements.

Assists with photocopying and scanning into medical records.

Assists new staff recruited to the team by demonstrating own duties and explaining procedures and standards.


Assists new staff recruited to the service by showing them around the premises and explaining health and safety and fire evacuation procedures.

File electronic and paper based patient, staff and other service records in line with office procedures.
