Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift license.

The role will be in the Warehouse/Stores department and your duties will include, but not limited to, wrapping and packing products for weekly collections, using the forklift and also assisting the warehouse supervisor with general duties in a busy factory environment.

Attention to detail and good organisation skills is a must and previous warehouse or packing experience is advantageous, but full training will be given to successful applicants.

Transformers & Rectifiers Ltd is an independent British company and specialist world leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of liquid filled, cast resin, and dry type transformers and transformer rectifiers.

We also manufacture products for radiotherapy equipment used for the treatment of cancer all over the world.

Requirements:

Valid forklift license

Mechanically orientated

Good communication skills

The ability to work alone or as part of a team

Attention to quality of what is produced

Maintaining good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment

Maintain awareness and compliance of H&S policies through training on site and adherence to them.

Remuneration & Benefits:

£12.98 per hour

25 days annual leave, excluding statutory holidays

Hours of Work:

Full-time, permanent 39 hrs per week, with the opportunity for overtime if available. This is following completion of successful probation period.

Monday - Thursday

Friday

30 minute lunch break (unpaid) and two 15 minute tea breaks
