Any RICS UK Office - We anticipate that this role can be performed with a hybrid working arrangement which balances working from home and the office.

It is expected that regular attendance in the office will be required in line with business, department and team needs.


Job Purpose:


As a Digital Performance Specialist at RICS, reporting to the Digital Performance Lead, you will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to make data-lead decisions on how we enhance our digital experience for our members.

Your role will encompass traffic analysis, keyword research, and supporting content creators' digital best practices.

Driven by data and user insights, you will manage and own a backlog of opportunities to improve key performance metrics, reduce funnel dropouts and advocate for the end-user.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a specialist team within the RICS Experience team to investigate improvements to our digital presence.
  • Work collaboratively with the UX Team, Digital Analysts, Digital Producers and stakeholders, to ensure user journeys are consistently optimised to increase conversions and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators to implement onpage SEO strategies, ensuring content aligns with SEO best practices.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Work with the Analytics Team to identify trends, user behaviour, and opportunities for improvement in our website traffic.
  • Partner with teams and departments across the organisation to help them analyse and optimise the performance of their digital activities.
  • Report on qualitative and quantitative data to the Web Content team and highlight any performance problems or opportunities.
  • Maintain a prioritised a backlog of improvement opportunities for investigation, testing and implementation.
  • Create and test hypotheses for improvements to make dataled decisions.
  • Collaborate with Digital Producers to create seamless user journeys and design rules for frequent activities.
  • Investigate entire journey flows from initial point of contact through to postgoal activities by working in cooperation with the teams across the business.
  • Work with the search and navigation specialist to leverage inbound organic traffic opportunities.
  • Be a digital champion, keeping up to date with industry best practice and sharing insight internally, ensuring compliance with GDPR and web accessibility standards.
  • Work closely with technical colleagues on projects related to web platform and design improvements.

Experience / Skills Required

  • Experience of crossfunctionally working with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record delivering positive change on digital platforms
  • Must be a positive advocate for change, getting fully involved in digital transformation projects and tasks
  • Experience of working within an agile environment
  • Strong knowledge of web, SEO and UX bestpractice
  • Sound grasp of website design and development
  • Understanding of web analytics
  • Experience of website design and operations
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships between disciplines and foster collaboration, especially on distributed and remote teams.
