An excellent opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to fulfil the role of Deputy Head of School for Paediatrics within Yorkshire and the Humber.


You will join us at a very exciting time for the School and will play an important part in the direction of training programmes across NHS England and the Yorkshire Deanery.

You will be accountable to the Postgraduate Dean via the Head of School who you will work closely with.

You will be expected to maintain a clinical commitment.

It is essential that you have a medical degree, membership/fellowship of the relevant Royal College/Faculty and have a current substantive contract as an NHS Consultant in a relevant specialty.

In addition, you should possess excellent leadership skills and meet professional requirements for Continuing Professional Development and Revalidation and make a wider professional contribution through academic and managerial responsibilities.

The post is for three years in the first instance.
