This is a rare opportunity to join our groundworks team. You'll be working in a key part of the ASHBROOK business, with projects throughout Cheshire, Staffordshire, and surrounding areas.

We are one of the leading Plant, Access and Agriculture Hire providers in the UK, with supporting groundworks and specialist transport divisions.

Job Description-

Working alongside our established groundworks team, taking instruction from the Groundworks Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high quality groundwork projects, ranging from street work to agricultural yard renewals, and everything in between.

Please note this is not a plant operator position.

Due to our regular fleet renewal, we provide high quality machines with best available technology in which to complete the work.

The role will include:

Concrete Works
Earth Works
Street works/Sewer Connections
Drainage
All aspects of groundworks

Requirements:

Must have a positive attitude and be selfmotivated
Have a willing attitude to work and a desire to learn
Must have a full driving licence
Be able to work as part of a team and on their own.
Flexible attitude to working hours and ability to prioritise tasks
Plant operator tickets are an advantage but not a necessity as is a current CSCS card or equivalent.

Rate of pay
£12- £17.00/ hours dependent on experience. This is permanent contract with ASHBROOK Ltd, rather than a self-employed opportunity.

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 07.00hrs to 16.00hrs with occasional Saturday work.

Longer hours maybe required when carrying out certain types of work, so some flexibility is needed. We operate local to our based in Congleton, so no nights away are required.
