Job Summary:

What your placement will include:

Supporting the Responsible Scientist in the execution of Bioanalytical studies within a Good Laboratory Practice regulated laboratory.
Processing of biological samples arising from preclinical and clinical studies.
Set up and operation of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometer instrumentation.
Integration and regression analysis using a Laboratory Information Management System.
Interested students should have:
At least 2 years academic learning working towards an Honours degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related discipline.
A desire to pursue a career in a Bioanalytical Chemistry.
Strong communication skills, positive attitude and a drive to succeed.

The salary for this role is £22,563.88 per annum (one year fixed term contract).

Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
