Job Summary:


What your placement will include:

  • Supporting the Responsible Scientist in the execution of Bioanalytical studies within a Good Laboratory Practice regulated laboratory.
  • Processing of biological samples arising from preclinical and clinical studies.
  • Set up and operation of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometer instrumentation.
  • Integration and regression analysis using a Laboratory Information Management System.
  • Interested students should have:
  • At least 2 years academic learning working towards an Honours degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • A desire to pursue a career in a Bioanalytical Chemistry.
  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude and a drive to succeed.

The salary for this role is £22,563.88 per annum (one year fixed term contract).

Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
