About the Role


The role of HR Administrator provides administrative support as part of the HR Shared Services team, enabling the team to provide an excellent HR administration service to businesses within the Totally plc group.

The role will contribute to the ongoing development of a paperless and on-line HR transactional service by advising and working with colleagues to ensure robust processes and systems are in place.


This role will proactively support the activities of the HR function by providing a comprehensive customer focused service, including administrative queries relating to recruitment, onboarding, training, employee data and information and other employee processes.


Your Day to Day

  • Deliver excellent customer service on a range of firstlevel queries and requirements relating to Recruitment, HR and Learning & OD, escalating where appropriate
  • Take ownership of shared inbox, ensuring request are processed and responded to in a timely manner and in line with company policies and processes
  • Produce and maintain accurate documents and records relating to HR, Recruitment and Learning & OD
  • Produce and maintain accurate documents and records relating to all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Produce and maintain accurate documents and records relating to all aspects of the contractor lifecycle
  • Conduct and record preemployment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation
  • Administer meetings and events, including training sessions and conduct follow up actions as appropriate
  • Consistently support colleagues and collaborate within the team and HR to achieve results
  • Plan and organise own workload to meet agreed individual and team KPIs in line with company policy, values and standards
  • Take ownership of administrative problems through to resolution, escalating complex situations as appropriate
  • Support implementation of HR processes, changes/projects with the business as appropriate
  • Prepare reports and management information from HR data, as required
  • Undertake development activity to improve personal performance
  • Undertake other duties as assigned.

Qualification, Experience & Training

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • English and maths to at least GSCE grade 4 or equivalent
  • Experience of dealing with customers
  • Experience of managing multiple queries and prioritising and escalating where appropriate
