Job Overview:
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a busy residential home setting.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of food preparation and service.


Duties:


  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
  • Help with food preparation tasks, such as marinating meat, mixing sauces, and baking goods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
  • Support the kitchen team during peak hours by ensuring timely delivery of food items and assisting with plating
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist with catering orders and special events as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential
  • A passion for food and an interest in culinary arts
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 per week
