Job Overview:
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a busy residential home setting.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of food preparation and service.

Duties:

Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
Help with food preparation tasks, such as marinating meat, mixing sauces, and baking goods
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
Support the kitchen team during peak hours by ensuring timely delivery of food items and assisting with plating
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Assist with catering orders and special events as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential
A passion for food and an interest in culinary arts
Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
