School Caretaker hoursper week

Reed are currently supporting a large primary school in DN32 with finding them a caretaker/site supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.

The role is for 32.5 hours per week and will be split shifts.

The hours of work are: 06:30 - 09:30 and then 14:30 - 18:00 per day.

Your responsibilities will be to manage the safety, security and cleanliness of the school. You will unlock the premises in the morning and lock them at night. A knowledge of general repair and maintenance would be helpful.

The school would ideally like to employ someone with some experience or transferable skills within caretaking, site managing, security etc.

You will be paid between £11 and £13 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities-

General maintenance including: alarms, lighting, general DIY, basic repair work, security
Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Supporting the BM with related paperwork
Opening and closing the school

To work in a school setting, you will have to have an enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one - which we can assist with).
