We are on the lookout for an Electronics Engineer to play a key role within the Electronics team as we expand to match our growing product portfolio.


Our Electronics Engineers are involved in the whole product lifecycle from detailed design to verification testing and technical support for manufacturing.

Your Role


The role requires an enthusiastic, flexible individual who is keen to take responsibility for a variety of different challenges across the product development lifecycle alongside the wider Electronics team.


Your Day to Day


As an Electronics Engineer at Sepura you will have responsibility for delivering small product features or significant parts of larger features, as well as supporting designs across the entire product lifecycle.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Contributions to the technical design and specification of radio and accessory products, including:
  • Ownership of the design and implementation for product features
  • Integration between electronic subsystems
  • Component specification and sourcing
  • Design, integration and test documentation
  • Collaborating across disciplines to resolve design and integration issues
  • Interaction with the Software team at device driver level (especially during bringup phases)
  • Developing and executing test plans
  • Progress reporting to project team and line manager

What you need to succeed

  • Qualifications_
  • Bachelors degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience and Skills_
  • Strong understanding of fundamental electronics principles
  • Experience of selecting microprocessor and memory devices, and understanding of the wider implications on hardware and software
  • Familiarity with digital interfaces, including I2C, UART and USB
  • Experience of a product development environment
  • Nice to have_
  • Experience of simulating designs in LTSpice and Hyperlynx
  • Experience with MIPI interfaces and camera integration
